Roger Smith Appointed to AMCA Board

For the first time in its history, the Antique Motorcycle Club of America has appointed a member who is known for his import motorcycle expertise to its Board of Directors.

On Thursday, September 2, 2010, at the AMCA board meeting in Davenport, Iowa, Roger Smith, VJMC Director and member #135, was named to the AMCA Club Board of Directors.

While Roger owns and also enjoys Harley Davidsons and Triumphs, he learned to ride on a Honda 50 in 1964, and continues his work with the VJMC as the group's Public Relations Director.

Many of his Vintage Japanese projects, have appeared on the covers of VJMC magazines, and his articles about restoration techniques are featured regularly in magazines, both in the U.S. and Europe.
